Nesuhi Ertegun

Real name: Nesuhi Ertegün

Turkish-American record executive and producer.
Son of Turkish Ambassador to the US, Munir Ertegun, and brother of Ahmet Ertegun.
He worked for Atlantic and co-founded WEA International Inc. in 1970.
Editor at Record Changer magazine and first to be appointed to teach in a history of Jazz course
for academic credit at a major US university, at UCLA in 1952.
Inducted posthumously into Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 1991 (Lifetime Achievement).

Born: November 26, 1917 in Istanbul, Ottoman Empire (now Turkey)
Died: April 15, 1989 in New York City, New York, USA.
