Swedish rock group within the Swedish progg movement based in Gagnef.Gläns över sjö & strand, which was active in 1970–1972, had political texts that dealt with capitalism and class divisions and rural depopulation on the first album, to include the Vietnam War and the Third World on the second album. In terms of genre, the music moves in pop and rock with elements of psychedelic music and folk music. The debut album's most played song, "Är du lönsam lille vän" (1970) has together with Peter Tillberg's painting "Blir du lönsam lille vän?" (1972) introduced the expression into the Swedish language.
After fifty years, Peter Mosskin, who wrote Gläns över sjö & strands songs, has recorded a new record. The songs are written from the 70s until today, several with the same connection to the countryside as before. The new record, "Hjärtat slår i Nordanlanden", recorded in Glugg outside Delsbo was published in 2021. Claes Dyberg, double bass, scissors & guitars, Alf Engström guitars & harp, Emilia Glugg vocals, Peter Mosskin vocals, guitar, harmonica and Dan Viktor vocals, guitar , in addition to sound engineers.
