The Malice

Originally formed as a hardcore punk band in 1983 in Sendai city, Miyagi, Japan.
They were a part of early Sendai hardcore/punk scene among other local acts such as Disarray, Rebel, 責任転嫁 (Sekinintenka), Idiot Idolaters, and G-Spot.
After putting out two demos, "Death From Madness" in 1984 and "Change My Sex" in 1986, the band's music shifted to a more new wave sound. Their first 7" flexi was released in 1987, and also appeared on the "Neo?" compilation LP on Portrait Records in 1988.
