James Walton

Real name: James Douglas Walton

US blues singer and harmonica player James “Little Daddy” Walton was a popular figure in Detroit blues clubs and active in the late 1960s and early 1970s. He cut a handful of sides for small Detroit labels such as Big Hit Records, Hi-Q, Big Star Records, and Pennie Records.

Born December 31, 1922 in Grand Lake, Chicot County, Arkansas. Died December 11, 2000 at home in Detroit, Michigan.
