Real name: Joseph Leroy Broussard

Cajun musician, accordionist, singer and songwriter, born June 8, 1921 in Rayne, Louisiana, USA; died November 5, 1991 in Carencro, Louisiana, USA.

He was a member of Pee Wee Broussard & His Melody Boys in the early 1940s. He then formed The Happy-Go-Lucky Band (ca. 1940), and later Leroy Broussard And The Lagniappe Gang (ca. 1978).

Son of Ulysses and Clotilde Broussard, both accordionists.
