Robert Scherman
Songwriter, producer, and founder of several independent west coast record labels including Tampa Records, Skylark Records (2), and Atlas (15). Born in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1920, Scherman began his career in the record business as a producer for King Records (3) and Federal Records (2). He was born June 14, 1915 in Brazil, Indiana and died November 2, 2000 in Sun City, California.
