Since John Gallagher and Jason Netherton first formed Dying Fetus during 'the popular days of Death Metal' in 1991, they have progressed, gained a unique style and become one of the most acclaimed and popular Death Metal/Grindcore acts.

The band combines technical brutality with catchy song structures, making each track they have released innovative and memorable.

After touring with bands such as The Berzerker, Hate Eternal, Gorguts, Skinless and more, plus releasing five full-lengths, Jason Netherton left the band while Sparky Voyles and Kevin Talley were asked to leave due to various internal conflicts.

Most were expecting Dying Fetus' break-up, but it never happened.

In 2003, Dying Fetus re-appeared with a new album, "Stop At Nothing", and a new line-up (only John Gallagher remained). Incredibly enough, even though basically a totally different band, all of the elements that made Dying Fetus great were present in the new release, to the point where someone less well-versed in the band's history could surmise that it was the same line-up.
