André's All Stars recording of Bebo Valdés' "Con Poco Coco" was probably the first Latin Jazz jam session ever. It was produced In Havana by Norman Granz and released in October 1952.
André's was the name of a Havana record shop whose owner was a friend of Granz that had lobbied and convinced him to produce it.
Later releases of this recording were credited to Bebo Valdés And His Havana All Stars.
