Roman Zajaczek was a composer. He was of Polish descent, but he later moved to West Germany after World War II to settle with his new wife. His father died in Auschwitz as a Polish political figure. He composed many music pieces under his given name, but used pseudonyms to write pop/radio tunes and collect additional royalties (a common practice at the time).
