Till 1973 member of The Society of Jesus (Jesuits), priest, musical teacher at the "Sint Ignatiuscollege" in Amsterdam.
Inspired by Joseph Gelineau (1920-2008).
Composed the music of many hymnes with text by Huub Oosterhuis

In 1978 he moved to Espeilhac (France), he mentioned his new house "Contre l’Église"
He was married with Annelou Koens
