Portuguese singer, composer and music producer based in Brazil (Lisbon, February 3, 1947 - Itacaré, June 30, 2010). Abilio was also a broadcaster, publicist, film director, audio operator and composer of jingles and soundtracks. "Pena Verde" was perhaps his greatest success, whose single-single would reach the top of the charts in 1970, making him known throughout the country. This song was recorded in French by Marie Laforêt, as "Elle A Raison" (1971), and was also sampled by Luisa Sonza in her eponymous song (2023). Other of his hits are "Luiza Manequim" and "Era Uma Vez".
