João Maria de Oliveira Pegado Bastos Carreira, who used the stage name of João Maria Tudella (Lourenço Marques, August 27, 1929 - Cascais, April 22, 2011) was a Portuguese singer, musician and artist. He developed an intense activity as singer, well-known performer, among many other record successes, of "Mozambique" and "Kanimambo" (with music by Maestro Artur Fonseca) and producer and presenter of the television program "Noites de Gala" held in 1987 at Casino Estoril.
