Generics were a Canadian punk band formed in London in August 1980 and disbanded in February 1982. They reformed for three months in 1983, but the reunion ended when they were involved in an accident while on tour, resulting in the death of singer Marc Sahrmann. A set of demos recorded on the same tour was quietly released posthumously on 7" vinyl as the "Societal Hemhorrage EP" in 1985.
