Richard Bock

Real name: Richard Eugene Bock

American West Coast jazz producer, engineer, and record label owner.
Born January 22, 1927 in Syracuse, New York; Died February 6, 1988 in Los Angeles, California.
He co-founded Pacific Jazz Records with jazz drummer Roy Harte. He also went by "Dick Bock".
He served as producer of hundreds of sessions in cool jazz and West Coast jazz for Pacific Jazz, working with Gerry Mulligan, Chet Baker, Art Pepper, Chico Hamilton, Jim Hall, Bud Shank, Buddy Rich, Wes Montgomery, Richard "Groove" Holmes, Les McCann, Gerald Wilson, and the Jazz Crusaders.
Also associated with Richard Bock Productions.
