INHALT, German for “content”, is the main project of producer and songwriter Matia Simovich. Matia partnered with vocalist Philip Winiger in 2009 to produce a trilogy of EP’s for Dark Entries Records. “Vehicle”, “Occupations” and “Commerce” were written as a response to the chaos of neo-liberalist capitalism, surveillance, and the severe economic displacement the duo witnessed living in San Francisco. INHALT has also released a Part Time Punks Session for Cleopatra Records, a remix ep on Emotional Especial, an extended 12” for London’s World Unknown Records, and regularly answers the remix call (The Big Pink, Sfire, Automelodi, ...).
