Born April 3, 1885 in Colfax, Illinois, USA.
Died January 1, 1948 (age 62) in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
He has 34 song titles listed at ASCAP (IPI #18007907). He wrote or co-wrote songs including "Oceana Roll", "Down By the Winegar Woiks", "When I Was a Dreamer and You Were a Dream", "One Dozen Roses", "Down Home Rag", and "Torpedo Jim".
He charted twice in the U.S. with the song "Oceana Roll" in 1911, first by Eddie Morton, when it hit #5 and then by Arthur Collins, when it hit #4. The song was co-written by Lucien Denni.
