Fotini Mavraki was a Greek singer. Mainly active in the '60s and '70s. Born on 15th of January 1947 in Nea Ionia and passed away 4th of November 2015 in Athens.
Ηer parents were Minor Asians with Romani origin. She had 8 siblings. Also, she participated as an extra in Elia Kazan's film "America America" at 15 years old.
She used to sing on a hill nearby her home and one day, composer Μιχάλης Αλεξάκης heard her by chance.
In 1964, they recorded her first 7" single, under the Polyphone label, who she remained until the end her of her career in 1986. She continued to perform sporadically until the '90s.
