James Calvin Wilsey

Real name: James Calvin Wilsey

American bass and guitar player.
Born 12-Jul-1957 in Logansport, Indiana, U.S.A.
Died 24-Dec-2018 in Los Angeles, California, U.S.A.

Wilsey played bass with San Francisco punk band the Avengers, but became better known as the lead guitarist for Stockton crooner Chris Isaak's band Silvertone. His playing was featured on Isaak's albums Silvertone, Chris Isaak, Heart Shaped World and San Francisco Days. He handled guitar on Isaak's first few albums, including 1989's breakthrough Heart Shaped World (which featured "Wicked Game"). His final album with the group was 1993's San Francisco Days.
