New York-based leader of the band A Confederacy Of Dunces, living in Queens, NY.Since the demise of the Dunces, John has put out solo releases (including a Kinks parody released as The Kunks) and formed a new band, The John Sally Ride. Dunbar also composed an Off-Broadway musical (The Last Hand Laundry In Chinatown).
