French singer born on October 9, 1947 in Paris and died on January 7, 2018 in Neuilly-Sur-Seine (west of Paris) at the age of 70. Gall gained worldwide fame at a young age as winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 1965 with the song Poupée De Cire, Poupée De Son. Between 1976 and 1992 she was married and had a successful career in partnership with French singer-songwriter Michel Berger.
