Singer/songwriter Kevin I. (Iwamoto) lived and performed in Hawaii, Japan, and California from 1973 to 1985. He recorded three albums, the last one "New Dimensions" in collaboration with Bob Wilson, leader of the legendary group, Seawind. While performing he was known for having a big vocal range and being genre versatile (rock, pop, R&B, standards, jazz, synthwave). He was the grand prize winner for the third Hawaii Music Festival and also competed at the 12th Tokyo Music Festival, with Lionel Richie, Jennifer Warnes, Joe Cocker, and Nancy Wilson.

In 2020 he released a digital remastered compilation album: The Best of Kevin I. 1980-1985
He followed that with a July 2022 digital album release of 5 love themed songs: Love Songs Collection 1980-1985 (2022 Remaster)
