Real name: Andrés Gregorio Landero Guerra

Colombian accordionist and singer of Cumbia and Vallenato. He was born in San Jacinto, Department of Bolivar, on February 4th, 1931 and died in Cartagena on March 1st, 2000. Andres grew up in a musical family and at a young age learned how to play the accordion. He traveled with vendors & performers from town to town to entertain and make some money in his teenage years. Over the years he composed over 400 songs. He traveled all over Latin America and was especially popular in Mexico. His fame in the world as the King of Vallenato was obtained thanks to songs such as “La Pava Congona”, “La Muerte De Eduardo Lora”, “Marta Cecilia”, “La Hamaca Grande”, “Mercedes”, “Perdi Las Abarcas”, “Dolor Guajiro”, “La Espinita” and “Suegra Buena”.
