Acid / Trance / Hard Trance DJ based in San Francisco, USA.
Considered as the pioneer of "Cybertrance" subgenre in the USA when he started importing the German Trance sound to the West Coast as early as 1993.
From around 1996, Mars & Mystrë (aka Eric Newman) started throwing raves in and around San Francisco. In 1998, they opened Frequency 8, America's first record store dedicated to the trance movement, and following its success, started eponymous event organization and related record label Frequency 8 Records.
Soon after the release of their double mix compilation Faith In 2000, they parted ways; Mars embarked in a solo career, developing his Frequency 8 record label, while Mystrë took over the record shop, renaming it Reverb Records (3) and evenly using as a record label too, before finally going out of business during the 2000's.
