Huw Jones (b. May 1948) is a singer, broadcaster and businessman. He became a prominent figure in Welsh music in the 1960s and for his protest song Dŵr which talked about the drowning of Capel Celyn and Cwm Tryweryn. He co-founded a number of Welsh media companies including Sain, Teledu'r Tir Glas and Barcud. He was chief executive of S4C for a decade and chairman of the channel afterwards.
