American hip hop group formed in 1981, in Brooklyn, New York. They broke up in 1991, soon after the release of their last album "Blood, Sweat & No Tears". The crew were known for including live instrumentation in their shows.In 1998, French DJ Dimitri From Paris remixed the song "Talkin All That Jazz", awakening some new interest in the group. Stetsasonic reconvened over a decade later and, in the early 2020s, released four new singles with promise of a new album in 2024.
