National Socialist Black Metal band from Gdynia, Poland. They started out as a Satanic band under the name Lord Of Evil.
In 1995 they changed their name to reflect the shift in ideology. "WAR" stands for "White Aryan Resistance" and "88" is shorthand for "Heil Hitler" (H is the 8th letter of the alphabet).
