Kim Hutchcroft

Kim Hutchcroft is American saxophone and flute player, born in Middletown, Iowa and is best known for his work as a session musician and touring musician for various artists.
Hutchcroft received a musical education, first at the University of Iowa and then, at Indiana University, where he was more interested in performance than teaching. At Indiana University, Hutchcroft met Jerry Hey and Larry Williams, and the three soon found themselves playing shows in Hawaii and formed the Seawind Horns band. Kim's versatility as a reed player, on instruments ranging from baritone and tenor saxophones to alto and soprano saxes, flutes, and wooden recorders, was a major asset to Seawind's unique sound and impressive horn section.
