Spot (born July 1, 1951 – died March 4, 2023) was an American record producer best known for being the house producer and engineer for the influential independent punk record label SST Records. He briefly played bass for Panic, who later changed their name to Black Flag, and recorded, mixed, produced or co-produced for most of SST's acts between 1978 and 1985. He is credited on albums by such bands as Black Flag, Hüsker Dü and Saint Vitus. Spot also produced several acts outside of SST. Spot later retired from producing to concentrate on performing.
