American death metal "supergroup" formed in 2019 by Jacob Bannon (Converge) and Sean Martin (ex-Hatebreed).The name Umbra Vitae (pronounced uhm'-bruh vee'-tie) is an homage to Georg Heym's poem of the same name, originally published in 1912.
