Real name: Jerome Solon Felder

American blues singer and songwriter born June 27, 1925 in New York City and died March 14, 1991 in New York City. His recordings included the single 'My Good Pott' released on Savoy. From 1956, he concentrated on songwriting working together with Mort Shuman. Sometimes credited as Jerome "Doc" Pomus.
Inducted into Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 1992 (Non-Performer). Inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1992.
Husband of Willi Burke.
