Good music simply sounds out for itself. Oakland’s Know Your Saints ain’t bullshittin’. Rife with conviction, the trio plays pop-infused indie-punk in perfectly imperfect form; it’s gritty, aggressive, unpolished, and saturated with jagged hooks and sing-alongs. They pay homage to the East Bay’s golden era of punk, tap into classic raucous Midwestern discontent, and still manage to hold their own.
