Alessandro Mendini (Milan, August 16, 1931-Ib., February 18, 2019) was an Italian industrial designer and architect. He played an important role in the development of the Italian design style. He also worked on the side of his career as an architect, for the specialized design and architecture magazines Casabella, Modo and Domus.
