Hawaiian ‘ukulele player, born August 25, 1944; died February 17, 2018.Peter Moon performed with Palani Vaughan in the 1960s. He achieved wider fame in Hawaiʻi as a member of The Sunday Manoa along with Robert Cazimero and Roland Cazimero. This lineup recorded three albums.
In the late 1970s and into the early 21st century, Peter Moon led The Peter Moon Band with a changing lineup of musicians. The Peter Moon Band recorded at least twelve albums.
2004: Winner of a Nā Hōkū Hanohano Lifetime Achievement Award under the auspices of the Hawaiʻi Academy of Recording Arts.
