Was a Cretan artist [Cretan Lyre, Singer] Born at Πλατάνια, Αμαρί [Platania, Amari], Crete, Greece.
His first contact with Music was in church singing psalms, he started playing Lyre at an early age influenced by Κουρούπης from Μέρωνα and Καπαρός Λευτέρης from Άνω Μέρος. He perfected his playing along with Ροδάμανθος Ανδρουλάκης, between 1945 - 1947 he gave live performances with Γιάννης Μπερνιδάκης, he also collaborated with Ιωάννης Μαρκογιαννάκης and wrote together: «Όταν κοιμάται ο δυστυχής» and the album «Μάχη της Κρήτης», Κοτσιφός, Παχουντάκης and Στέλιος Φουσταλιέρης He recorded his first album in 1957. Health issues hold him back from his carrer.
