Deutsches Filmorchester Babelsberg is a collaboration between the DEFA-Sinfonieorchester and the Rundfunk-Tanzorchester Berlin. Its one of the only remaining film orchestras in Western Europe and the only German professional film orchestra. They also do symphonic concerts, opera productions, jazz and pop programs, tours and lots of recordings. The have a very large repetoire of live synchronized soundtracks of silent films.
