Born October 7, 1927 Swansea, Wales. Died July 20, 2017.Ray Davies was one of Britain's foremost musicians the 1960s and 1970s. Throughout his fifty year career he has been much sought after as a trumpet player, arranger, conductor and as a composer/lyricist. His career resurged in the 1990s during the lounge revival. He passed away in 2017 at the age of 89.
