The Hot Stuff joined Portugal in the early 90s, although all Brazilians.
With the idea of forming a hard rock band in Portugal, singing in English.
The drummer, Rodrigo Leal, who is the son of Portuguese singer, but living in Brazil, Roberto Leal, who must have been the founder of the band. With vocalist Marcelo Larios and guitarist Solly Hazan, in the bass the Portuguese Mário Peniche, who was soon replaced by Fábio Zaganin.
The band has many influences of mixing Funk Rock and Glam Rock, like Extreme.
As for Hot Stuff, it was a very good one memorable time, but the timing was not the best, grunge was becoming fashionable and the Hard Rock was doomed to disappear (thankfully never completely). Even had two music videos on television, which is more than most people ever had, within this genre of music in Portugal.
In the second and final album, Things Like That, released in 1994, the vocals were assumed by the Brazilian Mauro Coelho.
