Power Thrash Metal Band from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Death Militia was active from 1985 to 1988. Founded by Dave Read (guitar) and Evan Wilson (vocals) in 1985, the band was soon joined by Mark Faria (bass) and Robb McVean (drums). This line-up recorded the 5 song "Onslaught Of Death" demo tape in 1985. After several member changes, a brand new lineup emerged in 1987 with guitarist Dave Read as the sole original member. This lineup included Steve Mills (bass), Dale Kennedy (guitar), Corey Stoll (drums) and a different singer who was an asshole (vocals), and in 1987 they released the 5 song "To Serve & Protect" demo in 1987. Kennedy left and was replaced by Jason Marsden (guitar). With Marsden the band made one final 2-song demo, "One Day Closer To Hell" in 1988 prior to more lineup changes, before disbanding permanently in late 1988.
