US country and rockabilly pianist and singer from Louisiana. Cousin to Jay Chevalier. Strange toured extensively in the late 1950s and 1960s with his band Tommy Strange & The Features, after which he settled in Fort Worth, Texas. In 1969 Strange opened a club, "Club Shamarie", and in the late 1970s him and his wife Bobbye Strange both became ministers for the Everlasting Gospel Church in Fort Worth.
