The Ripp Tides are a surf band from Newport Beach, CA. The band was formed in 1981 by Randy Redmond, Dave Moore and Tom Doyle. The band added bass player Ed White and Saxophonist Mike Brown in 1982. In 1983 Steve Vistaunet joined them on keyboards. They released four 7" Singles and two 10" EPs during their career. The original members of the band re-grouped for reunion gigs in Newport Beach, CA in 2010, 2011, and 2019.
