Bill Jones and the Bluegrass Travelers are one of the oldest established bluegrass bands in Missouri, dating back to 1953. Based in Dixon, they play a down-to-earth bluegrass style and mix in gospel bluegrass in their shows. They have been honored as the Gospel Music Group of the Year several times by Midwest Society for the Preservation of Blue Grass Music in America (SPBGMA).
