A short-lived death/black metal band from Stockholm, Sweden.

Founded in the end of 1986 by Per Ohlin, John Lennart Hagström and "Slator" (identity unknown), Morbid was one of the pioneering metal bands in the Swedish extreme metal scene.
Band's career was nevertheless very short as the group started to split apart already after the recording of their debut demo "December Moon" in 1987 when guitarist John Hagström left the band.
This was the beginning of the end for the group as also Ohlin left soon after and moved to Norway to join Mayhem. For a short period the remaining members tried to continue and got a new vocalist Johan Scarisbrick and recorded their second demo "Last Supper" in 1988, but at this point the band was already finished and was put to rest very soon after.

Drummer Drutten (L-G Petrow) and guitarist Napoleon Pukes (Uffe Cederlund) went on to join Nihilist (2) and later Entombed.
