Vocalist and keyboardist born at 24 May 1948 in Amsterdam (Netherlands), he had Indonesian roots. In the end of the 60s he became known as a member of the folk group CCC Inc., theater pop group Slumberlandband and finally as member of Doe Maar. When this band disbanded he played with Midnight Hour and Rienne Va Plus and wrote two novels. Now he also has a solo career and playes with some other Dutch musicians, among others with Boudewijn De Groot.
