Tito Cayamanda

Real name: Rodolfo Cajucom Cayamanda Jr.

songwriter and arranger from the Philippines

Born April 1, 1960 in Cabuyao, Laguna, Philippines, Tito Cayamanda studied mechanical engineering at the Mapua Institute of Technology in Manila and worked as an engineer before shifting to music. He played guitars and keyboards in a band but found recognition in the Philippines as a songwriter. His first success was “This Crazy Game”, sung by Ariel Rivera, which was followed by one of the biggest Philippine hits of 1992, “’Til My Heartaches End”, which he co-wrote with Vehnee Saturno. A MIDI programming and sequencing expert, Tito plays the piano, drums and guitar. He continues to arrange musical works for Philippine artists including Carol Banawa, Jude Michael, Roselle Nava and Jessa Zaragosa. He also runs his own company, TeeCee Music Ltd., and is currently (2022) Vice President of FILSCAP, the Filipino Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers. He resides in Santa Rosa, Laguna.
