Died January 14, 2011 in Agoura Hills, California, USA.
He was the pianist and arranger for The Korn Kobblers, a popular 1940s novelty group billed as "America's most nonsensical dance band".
He began the Gospel recording group The Golden Chorus with RCA Victor executive Steve Sholes.
He charted four times with the song "Tell Me Why", landing at #2 in 1951 by The Four Aces, i#3 in 1952 by Eddie Fisher, #13 (#3 adult contemporary) in 1964 by Bobby Vinton, as well as #7 R&B in 1952 by Dinah Washington.
