Thesyre is a band from Quebec, Canada. They play an hybrid of genres, picking up elements of Black Metal, Thrash Metal, Hardcore/Punk and Heavy Metal. They formed in 1995, released some demos an contributed to various tribute albums before releasing their self-titled debut album in 2002 on Ascent Records. After a split release with the band Corpus Christii in 2004, they released their second album 'Duality' on the Swedish label Selbstmord Services in 2005. The year also marked a collaboration EP with fellow french-canadian act Akitsa titled 'Contre-Courant'. The band then signed to France's Osmose Production and released two albums. Exist!, a single 32 minutes song was released in 2006 and Resistance, an album entirely sung in french, was released in 2009. In between those releases, in 2007, the band worked on split releases with both Macabre Omen and Audiopain. The band, after a 10 years hiatus, is rumored to make a comeback in 2020 with a new album.
