Terrorgoat was created in late summer/early autumn 2003 as a result of an inspirational spark I got. I finally had the musical inspiration to fulfill an old vision of mine: to compose music to a Magick Ritual in the Sumerian tradition, to record it and release it as a demo. However, the first release was not to be this Ritual, but a demo entitled Unholy Goatskull Rituals. Although I’ve never even listened to Noise, I guess that’s what Terrorgoat is: chaotic song structures, cacophonous noise and effects, weird melodies and barking, Death/Black Metal-style vocals. Ideologically, Terrorgoat stands for everything I do: worship of the Old Ones, opposing christianity and waiting/preparing for the new dawn of the Great Old Ones, who ruled once and shall rule again. Musically, Terrorgoat strives to audially describe the world as it is: chaotic, hopeless, unwelcoming, cold and hostile towards human life. This world is a warfield for much more powerful beings than us, and it is that emotion that I try to spread with my music. In a way, a ‘gospel’ for the Old Ones and all who work to reinstate Their reign.
