Members: Eliseo Parra, Toni Xuclà, Marià Albero, Antonio Palacin

Band formed around 1977, with musicians from Blay Tritono and La Rondalla de la Costa. Their style was very close to early Orquestra Plateria, trying to perform a repertoire close to the people, reclaiming the streets performance and the spirit of popular romerias. The music of Sardineta was a blend of Catalonian rumba, salsa, pasodoble, cha-cha-cha, jotas, habaneras or rock, adding some theatrical manners and a libertarian attitude. After a single published in 1978, they've released a self-titled LP in 1979. They definitely disbanded in 1980.
