All-female garage rock/punk band formed in Chatham, Kent, England in 1991. Thee Headcoatees were initially formed by Billy Childish as a backing group for his band Thee Headcoats. Their songs were also mainly written by Billy Childish and were usually songs that did not suit for some of his other acts.
