Real name: Alfreda Benge

Born: 1940, Benge is a vocalist, lyricist, film technician and illustrator and was assistant to the editor on Nicholas Roeg's film Don't Look Now. She married musician Robert Wyatt in 1974.

Since then she has designed artworks for most of Wyatt's releases, and contributed lyrics to a number of his albums. She has also provided art for Fred Frith's 'Gravity' and two children's books by Ivor Cutler. She wrote lyrics for French musician Bertrand Burgalat.
